WELCOME TO THE UNITED NATIONS SECURITY COUNCIL!

– Your Chair will be Aemal Nafis –

Aemal Nafis is a junior from Madison, MS. This will be her second year participating in MSMUN, and she is looking forward to reliving the experience. She is majoring in International Studies, with a minor in Religious Studies. On campus, she is on the board of the Muslim Student Association; RedX; Honor Council; and MIFA, an interfaith volunteer organization. Her favorite snapchat filter is the bee filter.

IMG_7450Hi! I’m Sara Taylor – a sophomore at Rhodes from Mobile, Alabama. Having never before participated in MSMUN, and only participating in Model UN for the first time last year, I am immensely looking forward to this year’s conference and meeting all of y’all! In the next year, I plan to declare an International Studies major with a French minor. On campus, I participate in the Rhodes First Book Club, Tennessee Intercollegiate State Legislature, and am an active member of Alpha Omicron Pi. 

– Your Crisis Staff Member is Dexter Woods –

dexter_headshot.JPGHi everyone! My name is Dexter Woods. I am from Murfreesboro, TN but am now living in Nashville as a freshmen at Lipscomb University. I plan on majoring in political science and piano performance. I currently serve as a senator on freshmen leadership council for the Student Government Association at Lipscomb and am a founding member of Lipscomb MUN. I have been very involved with Model United Nations and have participated in many facets of MUN – from being a General Assmebly Delegate, to being a lawyer in a simulation of the International Court of Justice, to serving as a Justice on the Court. I am very excited to get to serve on crisis staff for the MSMUN Conference!
