Welcome to MSMUN! We love meeting new delegates and advisors every year during the conference, but we would love for you to feel as though you have met us personally before the conference takes place! Read our biographies to learn a little bit more about us.

Other than Model UN, I’m involved with the Reformed University Fellowship, Russian Club, and serve as a delegate on the Rhodes College Panhellenic Council. This fall, I traveled to Irkutsk, Russia for a study-abroad semester!

Crisis Director: Isaiah Challen
Hey everyone! I’m Isaiah Challen, and I’m a freshman at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville from Chattanooga, TN (originally Boston, MA). I cannot begin to tell you how excited I am to serve as Crisis Director for the 2016 Mid-South Model United Nations Conference! I am an Audiology and Speech Pathology major and plan to minor in German. I have been a delegate at high school conferences for three years, and have attended six conferences. In high school, I played varsity lacrosse, marched in our drum corps, and was the lead delegate for both Model UN and Youth in Government. My family has lived all over the East Coast and now lives in Frankfurt, Germany where I plan on moving to finish college.
Deputy Director of Crisis: Jennifer Weissman
Jennifer is a Junior at the University of Mississippi pursuing a dual degree in Public Policy Leadership and Psychology with a minor in French. When Jennifer is not involved with Model UN matters as the president of her team, she often finds herself in her sorority house or volunteering with Foster Care Organizations. Jennifer hopes to work for the UN or otherwise in Mental Health & Education Advocacy. Jennifer describes herself as “enthusiastic about enthusiasm,” and is rarely without a smile to share. You will also be able to recognize Jennifer by her trademark pearls – she’s never without them!
